PE tarpaulin is a type of waterproof canvas fabric usually used as a goods canvas cover and is commonly used on work sites in the form of a canvas sheet as temporary tentage shelter, cover for building materials and equipment. Due to its lightweight, it is very portable and can be transported and setup easily. Besides being a convenient solution, it is also one of the most cost effective. Ready-made sizes are available to be bought off the shelf, with eyelets sewn on the its perimeter to secure to permanant structures with strings or ropes. For longer term use, thicker silver/green (one side silver, the other side green) PE material is recommended.
